Detection of antibodies against
phospholipase A2 receptor (PLA2R).
Indication: primary membranous nephropathy (MN), also membranous glomerulonephritis (MGN).
Initial dilution 1 : 10; conjugate class anti-human IgG, FITC-labelled.
The Anti-Phospholipase A2 Receptor (PLA2R) IIFT utilises transfected cells as standard substrate. Antibodies against PLA2R react with the transfected cells of the test substrate and produce a cytoplasmic fluorescence, in part with fluorescence of the cell membrane.
The detection of antibodies against phospholipase A2 receptors is highly specific and aids differential diagnosis of primary MN from the secondary form.
